Details of study:

This study is available to female volunteers (female volunteers must be menopausal or surgically sterile).

This study involves an investigational drug being developed for the treatment of migraine. It is thought to be a substance that will nullify the effects of another substance widely spread in nerves and called calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP). CGRP is known to have a central role in migraines.

The goals of this study are: a) to determine age-related differences in the amount of the investigational study drug taken up by the body and how quickly it is eliminated when given in elderly and non-elderly subjects; b) to evaluate how safe and how well tolerated it is when administered in elderly and non-elderly subjects.
