Men

&

Women

AGE: 18 to 49 years old

BMI: 18 - 32

Compensation up to:
$3,055

Details of study:

This study is available to female volunteers with a regular menstrual cycle (they cannot be menopausal and they cannot use hormonal contraceptive).

This study involves a drug already approved and available for prescription as solutions for injection for the treatment of prostate cancer in men and for the treatment of uterine fibroids and endometriosis (growth of the lining of the uterus outside of the uterus) in women. This study will evaluate a new formulation of oral tablets that is being developed for the treatment of endometriosis in women.

The goals of this study are to evaluate how tablets are tolerated when administered once or twice daily for 28 consecutive days in non-menopausal women; to evaluate how much and how quickly the drug is taken up and eliminated by the body when tablets are administered once or twice daily for 28 consecutive days, as compared to one intramuscular injection (injection into a muscle) releasing the drug over one month and to evaluate the effect of tablets on the levels of some hormones, as compared to the effect of an intramuscular injection.
